Sprinkler Show Success

I just wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone that helped with and that came to the sprinkler show last Friday. I also wanted to thank Bad Robot and Flatwater Toys for allowing us to have this show. We had a great turn out and it was nice to see all of the fans. Here are some photos of the display.

Thanks Again,
I will hopefully post some more informative blogs soon.

That's awesome! I saw this <a href="http://www.global-expos.com>tractor sprinkler</a> and was wandering if it is a good deal? I am thinking about getting one of these instead of an in ground sprinkler system.

The national lawn sprinklers are the best there are. The B3 is for bigger areas and can pull the most hose. The A5 was originally produced for the light weight hoses that were popular in the 60's or so. It is the A5-2 without the wheel weights. For normal use on regular sized lawns, the A5-2 works very well. The amount of hose it pulls is related to the weight of the sprinkler. Heavier sprinkler pulls more hose. You can make the sprinklers even heavier by adding more back wheels or more wheel weights. If it were me, I would order one from the factory and get an A5-2 with metal gears, if they will make one for you. These things never wear out. I worked there in the 60's, testing for leakers and making the parts. Even though the metal gears never wear out, the plastic ones may do so after a long while, but they can be easily fixed.

Hello National Sprinkler enthusiast. I'm on the market on buying a National Sprinkler for my home. I do have my mind set more on the B3, but does it have internal metal gears? I was wondering which one is the most popular one of all models? Also do the sprinklers have an automatic shut off like some others on the market? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you still managing this blog? I want a national sprinkler but they stopped making and/or selling them. Makes me want one even more.
Thanks. Kevin.
